My name is James Aikens and welcome to my portfolio website.
I am currently completing my certificates in Graphic Design and Web Design. I also have an Associates of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science (Information Systems).
Prior to being downsized, I was a computer programmer for over twenty years. I decided to make a career change because I wanted to develop my creative skills.
While taking classes, I have become familiar with the Adobe suite of products: (including Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Light Room Classic, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign). I also learned how to create websites both by hand with HTML and CSS and using WordPress.
My portfolio contains projects that I completed during my studies. These projects were created using the Adobe suite of products. The drawing at the end was done by hand using graphite, charcoal and white pencil.
